Abstract

The work under review here is devoted to dialogical sociology, which has gone beyond the boundaries of the social sciences to become of interest to and even co-leader of profound transformations in all the sciences. The book begins with a synthesis of the nine orientations of dialogical sociologies: dialogue, improvement, truth, goodness, beauty, gender, cultures, universal and vision of the future.

Author Biography

Marta Soler, Universitat de Barcelona

Professor of Sociology at the University of Barcelona and PhD from Harvard University, she has been President of the European Sociological Association (2019-2021) and of the Governing Board of the European Alliance for Social Sciences and Humanities (2016-2019). She was the first social science researcher on the Governing Board of ORCID (2014-2016) collaborating in its global expansion. She has led the European Commission's H2020 project SOLIDUS on solidarity in Europe in times of crisis. She has been Editor of International Sociology, journal of the International Sociological Association.
