Author Biography

Carlos Jesús Fernández Rodríguez, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid

Full Professor of the Department of Sociology at the Autonomous University of Madrid. He is specialized in the sociology of work, consumption and organizations, with special interest in the so-called Critical Management Studies. Editor-in-chief of the Spanish Journal of Sociology (RES), he has been the president of the FES Consumer Sociology Research Committee (2009-2020). He has published dozens of articles and book chapters on various topics and is also the author of several books, the latest being Chains, networks and algorithms: a sociological look at management (Libros de la Catarata, 2022).
