We present and review the work Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, a monograph that brings together part of the results of a research project of the same name, carried out by an interdisciplinary group of researchers who, in a rigorous and scientific manner, contribute in the different chapters content on the theory of Intangible Cultural Heritage to end the work with four chapters dedicated to different experiences provided by five case studies studied in depth. The main units of analysis of the work have been determined by the components that influence and/or determine Unesco's heritage processes. Some of the contents are the heritage policies in Spain, the value systems on heritage and the success in its declaration, the role of the protagonists and collectives, the consequences of the declarations on the territories and the different communities that make them up and the processes of political instrumentalisation that sometimes take place.
