Abstract

This is a review of the book Los nuevos españoles. La incorporación de los hijos de inmigrante edited by professors Rosa Aparicio and Alejandro Portes, two eminent figures in the field of international migration and social integration. The book is a compendium of eight research studies carried out by researchers or teams of researchers from different universities, mainly Spanish, on the process of adaptation and social integration of the so-called second generation of immigrants in Spain. This research has been made possible thanks to the Longitudinal Research on the Second Generation (ILSEG) project promoted and carried out by the editors themselves.
