Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • For a more complete review of the editorial guidelines, please consult the publication guidelines document, which can be found in the Submissions section of the journal's website.
  • Authors are obliged to follow and respect in the original text the ethical principles of research and scientific publication, avoiding dishonest practices such as fraud involving falsification or invention of data, repeated publication, plagiarism in its different modes and variants or co-authorship conflicts. During the evaluation process the text may not be submitted to another journal or publisher.
  • The text must be sent in Word format in two files: on the one hand, the text in its final version with the set of references, as the authors initially wish the manuscript to be published. This final version should include an abstract of between 100 and 150 words, together with five lowercase keywords separated by semicolons. In both cases, both in Spanish and English. The name and institutional affiliation of the author(s), their respective ORCID number, and a brief curriculum vitae of no more than 100 words should also be included.
On the other hand, the same final version, completely anonymised, must be included in another Word file, eliminating any reference that could identify or deduce the identity of the authorship of the work.
  • Wherever possible, URLs are provided for references. If journal articles have DOIs, these should appear at the end of the citation according to the following pattern: https://doi.org/xxxxxx. The hyperlink should be enabled.
  • In the body of the text, Times New Roman 12 should be used as the typeface and font size with a line spacing of 1.5. Bold, underlined or italic type should not be used in the body of the text. The beginning of the first paragraph after the title, heading or sub-heading should not be indented, but the following paragraphs should be indented. All illustrations, figures and tables should be placed in the appropriate places in the text, rather than at the end.
  • For bibliographical references, as well as for the design of the tables, the indications of the APA norms in Spanish (7th edition) should be followed.
